About

A calm, trustworthy guide for your move to Portugal

Moving country is one of the most stressful things a person can do. The rules are opaque, the stakes are high, and the answers you find online are often wrong or out of date. VistoPilot exists to replace that anxiety with the calm of a clear next step.

Our mission

We help people move to Portugal and settle in, from the first “do I even qualify?” to opening a bank account and finding food that tastes like home. Our job is to turn a confusing bureaucratic maze into a sequenced plan you can actually follow.

Who we build for

Portugal is now home to more than 1.5 million foreign residents — about one person in seven. The largest communities come from Brazil, India and Angola, followed by Nepal, Bangladesh and the UK, and the rules differ for each of them: CPLP nationals reach citizenship sooner, and whether your documents need an apostille or consular legalisation depends on where they were issued.

So the guidance is tailored to your nationality, your goal and your stage rather than written for one country and generalised at everyone else. That applies whether you are still researching, mid-application, newly arrived, or counting the years to citizenship.

Trust and freshness

We earn trust by showing our work. Every legal answer shows its source and the date it's drawn from, so you never have to take our word for it. When the assistant isn't certain, it says so and offers a human instead of guessing. And because immigration rules change, we keep our sources current and date-stamped. We show our confidence instead of faking it.

Why AI-first

VistoPilot is built around an assistant that answers your questions grounded in current, source-cited Portuguese immigration law, and turns those answers into a personalised plan, checklist and timeline. The assistant is the home page, not a feature buried in a menu, because the one thing you came for is a clear, correct answer.

We pair that with nationality- and budget-aware local discovery for settling in, and we say plainly when a case needs a lawyer rather than guessing at it. Read more about the limits of our guidance in our Disclaimer.
